IFSTA and Fire Protection Publications are sad to report the passing of Chief John W. Hoglund, Director Emeritus of the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute. John served the IFSTA organization for more than 40 years as a Validation Committee Member and Chair, as well as more than 30 years as a member of the IFSTA Executive Board. He was a true leader of the fire service at all levels and will be sorely missed. Service details are as follows:
