The Emergency Services Ergonomics and Wellness report by Principal Investigator Dr. Cerie Smith, Director of Rehabilitation & Wellness, Phoenix Fire Department, Phoenix, Arizona, is now available for download. The report was produced through a partnership with the United State Fire Administration and IFSTA, headquartered at Fire Protection Publications at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma.
This report provides corrective measures to increase the safety of emergency responders during training and responses; reducing job injuries and maximizing length of service.
